Before starting a restoration project, you need to have a good idea of what you want to achieve. Once this is established you can then investigate how you might reach your objectives.
Planning ensures that your group has:
- an agreed vision and objectives
- documented management actions
- the necessary resources (e.g. equipment, funds, volunteer power)
- checked for wāhi tapu (sacred places) and other cultural heritage sites
- the best chance of success.
